Agroecology and Food Justice

The initiative empowers rural women on food production and movement building.This is a technical and political education initiative that creates safe spaces for women to interrogate and engage in food production process , have skills and knowledge on healthy food production and at the same time .The initiative seeks to build consciousness on food justice and strengthen productive resources for rural women.The initiative further aims at amplifying women voices in decision making in relation to productive resources , strengthen solidarity for food justice among rural women , improve rural women's control of productive resources and build a rural women's collective.
