The successful launch of our second ECD center hinges on a robust enrollment strategy. To ensure maximum impact, we implemented the following initiatives:
Community Outreach: Engaging with community leaders, parents, and caregivers through awareness campaigns, and home visits to highlight the benefits of early childhood education is the key aspect of our initiative. Several meetings with the local government leadership were held to discuss the need, resources and possible challenges of the relevant community before the commencement of the program at Kangaye B street. We went to involve health workers who ran a campaign to raise awareness and promote community awareness about the importance of ECD center, identify children aged 3-4 years who are expected to benefit from this center where more than 85 children were identified so far.
Collaborative Partnerships: Thereafter, we organize orientation sessions for parents to familiarize them with the center's programs, policies, and expectations.
Offering flexible enrollment drives with on-site registration, information sessions and payment plans to accommodate diverse family needs were the best plan where parents had the opportunity to be heard and served for 3 days consecutively. .
A Smooth Launch for Our Second Center
Building upon the lessons learned from our first ECD center, we have implemented several strategies to ensure a seamless start for the second one:
Staff Training and Development: We conducted comprehensive training programs for new staff members to align with our center's philosophy and curriculum.
Resource Allocation: Ensuring adequate allocation of resources, including learning materials, equipment, and supplies, to support quality education.
By combining effective enrollment strategies with careful planning and preparation, we are confident in the success of our second ECD center. This expansion will not only benefit the children but also strengthen our position as a leading provider of early childhood education in the community.
