Women whipping as a sign of love Women whipping as a sign of love

I am not from Ethiopia, talk less of coming from the hamar tribe. But it happens some how that what concerns all women globally concerns me too.

This body whipping practice is prevalent among the Hamar tribe of Ethiopia where a woman is beaten as a sign of love and dedication to her husband. It feels awful 😞 and I am sorry if it seems like I am making mockery of another tribe. But let's be realistic how can???

women men will usually refer to as 'weak vessels '( which I know we are not ) be made to go through such awful experience in the name of love and dedication. And I found out that these women don't cry. They take it as 'normal'.

Don't you think this kind of practices comes to an end. If there's a way we can stop this, don't you think we should?????

Can't we find a way possible to stop this?? I feel really sad. This is totally unfair
