LESEGO CHOMBO👑MISS WORLD AFRICA 2024, MISS BOTSWANA 2022/3/4

Lesego Chombo is a born again Christian young lady, an attorney /lawyer by profession. She won Miss Botswana in 2022. On her night of inauguration there were no sponsorship. She walked away empty handed but only with a title of Miss Botswana. No company stepped forward to gift her anything or to sponsor the Miss Botswana organisation. Lesego, bravely took the crown, and worked wonders with it.

During her journey for Miss Botswana Competition, she introduced a project called GENESIS PROJECT: it was her Beauty with a purpose campaign project. This project is based on providing wellness for the children, from home / family, school and their whole environment. Lesego toured Botswana, especially at her place of origin (Maun - Shorobe). Addressing parents and children about the importance of having conducive up bringing, education and health. She engaged Social Workers, Psychologists, Teachers, Pastors and other needed support to mentor both parents and children, parents for proper raising of children and children for knowing their rights and paying attention to their welfare. Lesego started working hard on this project after winning Miss Botswana preparing for Miss World. She attracted the eyes of many, she impacted lives she crossed path with. Companies began to recognise her, they came in large numbers to sponsor her project as well as her journey to Miss World.

A lawyer that she is, vowed to fight for children's rights and Gender Based Violence victims with free of charge. Before Miss World Competition she launched Lesego Chombo Foundation which is now the compound for GENESIS PROJECT.

Lesego as a born again Christian, a worshipper broke the barrier that has been built between the religion and goals. Most young Christian women got inspired by Lesego, broke off the shell to chase their dreams. She taught us that being a Christian doesn't put one in bondage rather, God given us the talents to impact lives with. With this, more Christians openly came on board to support Lesego, including Pastors or church leaders. Batswana backed up Lesego and most part of the world as she went on that stage. She used social media platforms: Facebook, Ticktock and Miss World Website to connect and engage with the community.

She amazed many, she was one of the best contestants. She had great intentions and authenticity. Hence she emerged one of the winners as Miss World Africa. This story here has touched and inspired me to work hard for my dreams, and shouldn't let anything discourage me. With or without anybody, the dream goes on, the goal must be reached. What matters is the authenticity and Intention. What matters is the impact. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Congratulations once again to our Queen Lesego Chombo👑👑👑👑👑
