I am an aspiring queer artist, lately i have been seeing so much hate within parts of our community, and that led me to remember all the stories i have read about former queer activist who have done so much for us. And from that i realized that there is a huge queer generational gap that took our queer culture from being a culture of an organized unity to a consumerist culture, where before queer people were taking care of one another now we just happy to buy the next new lgbtq+ merchandise that comes around. I am trying to put together a story that would bridge the gap between the queer generation and remind people from my generation that the fight is not over and that there is so much suffering that went hidden with time. So i hope i get to talk to some the queer people (maybe through an organized online meeting) who have been on the other side of the queer culture who had been there through the 80s, through hiv, through ronald reagen's america. Everybody who would like to join is welcomed, and everyone who would be willing to talk to me personally and enlighten me but prefer only to reply here please feel free to do that. And if yoj would love to be apart if our friendly online gathering where we will listen and tell the stories of the ones we havent spoken their name in so long and remember them togerher, i would be honoured to have you with us. And i would love to end this saying that i admire and respect you and i thank all that you did for us. And i hope the ones you lost are proud to see how much we did change.
