This one's for the real heroes of this world: for all the little lights - so bright they hold the possibility of lighting up the whole of humanity!

Seven years ago, I thought I was trying to save children from hunger, but the truth was, they were saving me. Last week, I received a birthday letter from my little friend; she wrote, 'We will always be here to guide you on your journey.' You could laugh at it, but it hit home - straight through my heart! As if she was speaking for all the little ones that I've ever encountered and will ever meet. I guess I was blessed to be spared from ever feeling that emptiness, spared from the pain of living and never finding out why. The little ones have given me the gift of wanting to constantly strive to become the better version of myself. They taught me how it is to be present and alive. They saved me from my own selfishness. Indeed, they've always been there - like a guidepost. They carry that light just to show me where I should go next!

Today, I am grateful and excited to be announcing where I'm being led next.
