(Update)Creating Breast Cancer Awareness in Uganda

We are a team of 5 passionate women (Uganda, Poland and Nigeria)have teamed up to create awareness in rural communities in Uganda in May 2022. Three of these women are breast cancer survivors. We plan to reach over 2000 people. We are mobilising resources for this campaign from our personal savings and friends but welcome your contributions: Planned activities: 
1. Sensitization at Bikurungu Market in Rukungiri District on a Thursday market day. Target audience is People visiting the market.

2. Sensitization for staff of Bikurungu Primary School targeting Staff.

3. Conduct a breast cancer awareness Workshop with Bikurungu Town Council audience is Councilors both men
and women (50)

4. Visit to Bikurungu Health Centre Health workers and hand some materials for use in the Hospital.

5. conduct a Football match in the evening between the local Football teams. audience for the messages are spectators. Resources available for these are: 1 Trophy; 2 balls; refreshments, Water, glucose, First Aid
kits) T shirts for coach, Referee, Lines Men.

6. conduct a Volleyball Match at Jade (Men versus Women) Players and spectators plus community members (resources 2 volleyballs, volleyball net and pitch lines).

7. Sensitize Nyamihuku Church of Uganda People who have come to church. Speak to the congregation on education of girls since this is one of the worse communities with child marriages and highest school drop out.
8. Visit to Kagando Hospital and conduct breast cancer Sensitization in Rwenguhya Village and Health Workers, Women.
