United in Strength: Celebrating the Power of Global Sisterhood #WorldPulse #LogOnRiseUp"

My first World Pulse story was born out of deep frustration—stemming from the constant typhoons that ravaged the Philippines, a harsh consequence of climate change. In those times, I felt overwhelmingly helpless facing nature’s wrath.

The call for stories was my chance to share women’s struggles in our disaster-prone country. So I dared to write, hoping to be heard.

That courageous act changed my life because even though there was no abrupt solution to our country’s storm situation, I discovered a global community that cares.

Not only that.

In my life’s inner storms, I found a sanctuary for my silenced voice – a platform that encourages the power of storytelling.

The moment when World Pulse’s digital doors swung open,  something within me stirred—a dormant spirit awakened.  My once-suppressed voice found the courage to share my stories.

Being active on World Pulse connected me with global sisters who resonated with my vulnerable stories. In every shared experience with them, I found solace, strength, and support.

It was a journey from isolation to global camaraderie, a gradual transition from 'I' to 'We'.

In World Pulse, I saw the beauty of women in its most authentic and powerful form. I witnessed fears being dismantled, grief being comforted, and dreams being reborn as we shared, cried, and celebrated together.

With words of encouragement,  we reminded each other that our limitations – often scripted by culture or society – can be redefined. We can break chains and cycles by the strength of our stories and global solidarity.

The World Pulse leaders are my inspiration for against all odds, they continue to rise, to fight, and to dream.

Reading their triumphs ignited a fire within me, a powerful conviction whispering, "she can, therefore, I can." Their strength fuels my strength.

World Pulse became my safe space where I was not only heard but held, hugged, and hailed.

This global community has been my unwavering support system.

During the pandemic, World Pulse became my lifeline.

The Thriving Thursdays and Encourager Parties provided a shelter of hope and solidarity, strengthening the connection amidst global isolation. It’s like finding a peaceful place in the middle of a storm.

In seasons of personal hardships, when times got tough, I knew I had a place to go where my sisters understood, empathized,  and cared.

During a personal darkness, I realized it wasn't just a single star that shone for me, but a whole constellation of women’s voices lighting up the sky.

I am no longer alone. This is the power of our sisterhood.

Being part of World Pulse means women are not just being mentored but also mothered.

It means having the love and support of women who believe in you, even when you doubt yourself. They help you find your strength and encourage you to stand tall.

This is the essence of World Pulse is a global sisterhood:

  • where no woman is left behind
  • where every woman is seen and heard, and
  • where every woman's battle is everyone’s battle.

In this celebration of Women’s Month and World Pulse’s 20th anniversary, let us continue to embrace the power of storytelling.

Let us write stories that spark inspiration for a new generation of women and girls.

Let us share our journeys, our triumphs, our lessons, and our hearts.

Let us continue to build this unbreakable chain of support, lifting each other to new heights, breaking barriers, and rewriting the narrative of women worldwide.

Here’s to the stories yet to be told, to the voices yet to be heard, and to initiatives yet to be accomplished.

Cheers to the indomitable spirit of the World Pulse sisterhood.

May we continue to inspire, empower, and transform – today and for generations to come.
