WORLD TOURISM DAY 2024

Travel far , live fully and embrace the beauty of the unknown .the world is marking world tourism day and the government of KENYA gave opportunity to all KENYAN citizens to go see the action live just like the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC do bring the action on the comfort of our seas. it was an opportunity that was well utilized by thousands that showed up on different national parks across the county . we all know how expensive the national parks charge per person and the truth be told very few individuals can afford the entrance fee while thousands choose to use the opportunity given by national geographic . this was the firs time in history of world tourism day celebration that the government gave back to its citizens .the opportunity was positively received I saw so many people driving to the park , trying to have a talk with many who said they they have never seen a lion face to face , or elephants it was an opportunity and turning point to many . with the digital world most people did their live reporting from the famous MASSAI MARA ,TSAVO,NAIROBI NATIONAL PAK, ABADEARS and many others both public and private , you could see the smiles on peoples faces while doing their lives , some were very happy to see lions eating a buffalo they hunted last night and the park of lions enjoying the fruits of their hard work . but because its circle of life the hyenas and wild jackals fight for a share they never work hard for so ,the nature of fight for a kill between the animals were enjoyed by many citizens who took advantage of the opportunity . my friend Aaron lucky to see a cheetah do its thing being the fastest animal in the planet , he manage to witness first hand experience the talking, and then chasing that lasted like 30 minutes , the cheetah grabbed the antelope and started eating it being circle of life too it dragged the antelope to the top of the tree were it eat it slowly at its own comfort , hey do that because of the hyenas that steal their kill so nature has to come up with good idea of preserving their food. Aaron tells me he saw an old lion that was isolated from its pack it was alone just making this weak roar that was really sad .. his experience has given Aaron a life time experience that he never had in fact he thanked the government for the opportunity .this day too was an opportunity for me to plant tee i get a target of 100,000 trees before the end of the year and also i planted trees to my g-zee friend who was shot during the demonstrations .she was full of life and she really loved nature i know she would have enjoyed the free park visit today her favorite animals are the crocodiles , she used to tell me about those big lizards and how she admire their natural way of surviving , how they feed and hunt my friend would tell you a story and you would picture it right on your mind i miss her and whoever shot her may you not find rest because you rob me treasure that i cant get back!! NO amount of $$ cant pay that ..!! that was my girl all I'm remaining with is her memories and trying to Finnish the tree planting projects we started together .because tourism is part of tree planting , i fulfilled my pledge and thank the government for the opportunity the best part of todays even i found a group of more tree planters today that put a big smile on my face and it made my day and reminded me how nature needs us to protect it at all cost .and it need courage and strength to come together to save it. just when i was writing this article a friend just called me to tell me how she had fun in ELEMENTAITA NATIONAL PARK , she saw the sleeping worries something she only tells me she see while traveling it was an opportunity for her to see that historical feature ,she went a head to tell me she saw flamingos that were doing their one leg pose as they wobble on beautiful lake ELEMENTAITA1! 'she say her heart is full why !! so 'nature was a therapy she needed and she is also thankful for the opportunity by the KENYAN GOVERMENT this put a big smile on my face I believe so many families from all walk of life had the best weekend to die for , many have stories to tell those who never got the opportunity to go for a national park because challenges they don't talk loud about to anyone i don't blame anyone we all have issues , we human at the end of the day . if only the government can be doing this every year the depression in peoples hearts will reduce thats my thought. this national tourism day was the best of all everyone got an opportunity they been praying for for years their smart phones and those digital cameras have a life time memories to share with their children's, children , school going kids have a story to write about a trip to the park i bet its going to be interesting to read about all the fun they had ,all the actions they saw live , all the beautiful both big and small world animals that they only see on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC channels , this life time opportunity was the best thing ever it was a therapy for sure to many , weekends are always for eating junk food and going for shopping , malls, family gathering but today it was a family fun ride I'm so happy when folks share with me their trip to he park amazing stories ..just nice
