3 years ago, my 1st visit in Feb 2023 with Mama Sidy asking me to promise to return, and the 3rd picture to the right was taken on the 18th of March with her Women's day kaba I go fo her

I want to talk about Mama Sidy, my mama in the village where we got allocated the land to build the House of Hope and Healing.

3 years ago Mama Sidy had a fallout with one of her children. She is a widow and was called a witch. She got and stayed depressed since then. On my 1st visit, I gave mama a healing hug before I even knew the story. On my 3rd visit, mama was back to buoyant even if she still hears some voices. Many asked me what I had given her. Maybe the Women's Day kaba (dress she has on in the 3rd picture to the right)  she asked for?

Mama Sidy is the mother of David, a young man I met in church who told me we could get land in his village. Mama Sidy calls me her new daughter the Lord has wiped her tears with.

I was in the village for the weekend recently because my Lord asked me to come back---to receive some divine instructions and go mingle with the people. It so happened that the Chief had lost his elder sister and there was a funeral in his palace. The entire village came to the funeral and by opting to wash all the dishes (this is my best house chore by the way) I ended up interacting with everyone. People brought their dirty plates to me in my corner of the court, and the little children came around me to ask for leftover pieces of meat and fish.

I am grateful for Mama Sidy who has been telling whoever wants to listen that I am a bringer of so much love and good tidings with a great project. Many young men in the village have already volunteered to help in the construction when the time comes.

I already see the way peace and unity are going prevail in the village thanks to the work I will do there by Grace Amen
