NLK has sustained the dedication to stand in solidarity with vulnerable women groups and their families include: low-income women, children, elderly, people with disabilities through implementation of prevention strategies, activities and all possible backings enable them safeguard against HIV/AIDS, COVID-19, all forms of violence against women and their negative impact on lives of the target women and vulnerable groups, and the community. Since January 2020 to date, our support has reached to over 2,100 beneficiaries in Addis Ababa city and beyond programme communities with different care and support services : In particular, attention were paid to the target women infected and affected by HIV and AIDS as well children, grandmothers and vulnerable members of the community were helped to cope with crisis, to regroup and rebuild, and to continue on with their lives. The efforts have successfully reduced transmission of HIV and prevented violence against women (VAW). We are enabling immediate investments in service delivery to translate, over time, into more substantial, longer terms benefits for people and their communities. Immediate needs are met through cope with crisis: entry into treatment, entry into school, adequate nutrition, removal from violent situations, housing, and counseling and therapy. Further, communities regroup and rebuild, in areas such as income generation, medical care, and positive living. particular attention paid to psychological and emotional well-being, and the bonds that connect people – be they nurturing relationships within families, social networks created through women. Thank to our compassionate donor- the SLF, our success for our own target groups in our own target grassroots communities has been possible by their farfetched sustained Funding commitment to our important community work .
